Scott brings a unique perspective to any project by combining his leadership, design, operational, and transactional expertise to any project. Conservative by nature, these experiences allow him to see opportunities where others may not, and while managing risks chart a course resulting in a successful project.
Over the last two decades, Scott has led real estate deals involving both ground-up development of new properties and acquisition and upgrading of existing properties.
Primarily focused on the self-storage sector, he has developed or acquired multiple projects across Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas. As managing partner, he was responsible for coordinating all aspects of the projects from site selection through entitlements and construction.
Concurrently with these real estate activities, Scott built out the Arkansas market as a franchisee for SportClips Men’s Haircuts. After acquiring a single underperforming unit in Little Rock in 2003, he ultimately built an 18-store market covering the entire state of Arkansas.
During this time, he was voted national Franchisee of the Year twice, and travelled extensively around the country speaking on operations and employee recruitment and retention. Scott exited his investment in the SportClips brand in 2017.
His management team in place at the time of the sale is largely still intact, with several management team members moving on to leadership positions at the SCI corporate level. His time with SportClips brought home to him the importance of building consistency across units and surrounding himself with the strongest possible team.
Both the development of the real estate projects and the build-out of the market for SportClips were aided greatly by the skills acquired during his 15-year career as a Professional Engineer in site development consulting. During this time, Scott worked with national and regional brands, as well as local players, to plan, design, and construct sites for new facilities across the southeast. This period culminated with him as President of Richburg Rickett Consulting Engineers, LLC in Little Rock.
A Graduate of Auburn University, Scott also served in the Alabama National Guard where he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant and served in Field Artillery, Assault Floating Bridge, Combat Heavy, and Public Affairs units.

After spending 10 years working for Baldwin & Shell Jeff decided it was time to pursue starting his own construction company.
In 2004, Jeff started Innovative Builders of Little Rock (IBI). IBI completed a wide verity of projects from Single Family Homes, Townhomes, Education Buildings, Self-Storage Units, Office, and Retail spaces.
